It's one thing to test a rookie, but to pull a stunt like that where a player could suffer a severe head injury and a possibly career-ending injury is not acceptable. You only have one brain, so the WNBA needs to suspend that player the remainder of the season without pay to send a message that dirty tactics are not acceptable.

Just because a few idiots bring up race that doesn't mean the whole league has those views. Yes Clark is huge for the WNBA, but Brink and Reese draw in fans as well. The other day the Fever & Sparks played each other.. Brink vs Clark, it was in L.A. and sold over 19k tickets. The most the LA Lakers had this season was just over 18k. Of course Laker tickets cost a lot more and generate A LOT more money with merchandise, TV deals, etc, but this rookie class has elevated the WNBA.
I think the WNBA had a more of a club mentality. This is an article from 2016, but a former player said that 98% of the players in the WNBA are gay and that straight players are not really welcomed.

This is what I mean it having a club mentality. But his rookie class, the more known players are not gay and they have made sure to make it known they are not gay without saying it (being on camera with their boyfriend, post on social media with their boyfriend),

This is much, much different. All these stars in the WNBA watched as Clark and Reese made more money and got more notoriety last year than any of them ever have. Those two in particular have a target on their backs.
