Love the “he’ll never get credit even if he wins a NC”

When he hasn’t lost less than 3 games in a year.

He should get credit for recruiting and being willing to make changes though. But he needs results

At least he made a season prediction unlike you.

O can eat a dick. Dude is a joke and I’ll continue to think so at least until he makes a playoff. But I won’t hold my breath.

I dont See our AD demanding an NC anytime soon.

Sammy

You won't get anyone good to coach lsu on that basis.
Natty or be fired.

I doubt you could get anyone to take it if you said, must beat bama no less demand a championship.

Ny6 bowl over top 10 opponent is great accomplishment.
And it looks like lsu will be deeper on the lines, have a premier back and both qbs show improvement.

Your wish that ad insist on the moon is just silly.

It's simple. Just like the whiners who are crying in this thread. They were doing this all off-season last year. I told them they were idiots. Turns out they were idiots and now they blame me for their predicament. Either that or they really hate being proven wrong and made to look like the morons they truly are.

Wait... you think 3rd in the West is “successful”? Lol

You could always go back to supporting SMU football.

Fortunately for him he got to play an Auburn team that beat him 40-17 two weeks earlier in the championship game. LSU fans should know about "re-do's" and how they work out.

And for all his GREATNESS a 2nd year coach Eaux beat a 3rd year "his GREATNESS" Kirby Smart and his #2 ranked team 36-16. I'll give him his due - Kirby is one of the best coaches of all time and will go down as being in the top 5. As long as he doesn't have to play "the Eaux" in the future.

He has 2 CFP Apperances

Look at his competition every week.

Texas has been down.
TCU has been down.
Kansas
Kansas St
Iowa State
Baylor
etc
etc
etc

West Virginia is probably the 2nd best team in that conference. West Virginia?

He took over a team that had gone 9-0 in conference and played in the Sugar Bowl.

If Eaux was coaching that OU team or even had his LSU team in that conference I don't see the results being any different.

So if head-to-head performance determines which coach is better than another, should we list all of the HCs who have beaten O? Specifically Les Miles, who bear O head to head in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

It wasn't that difficult. He had a gimme game against an SEC East team. LSU flexed their muscles for the first 10 minutes of the game and won 36-16. Georgia was #2 and coached by one of the best coaches ever in Kirby Smart.

So you’re holding O to the same standard?

Well Kirby has an SEC championship and Riley has 2 Big 12 championships.

And both have played in CFP which is the only way to win a NC.

So Yeah.. seems to still be a world of difference between them and O

Nope. Like it or not if O is going to win a championship he’s first got to beat Bama

That's not necessarily true. Alabama won a title in a year when they didn't even win the SEC. If LSU goes 11-1 they are in the playoffs.

“Look at his competition”

They play in the SEC and he has been highly successful. A 10 win season is not his high water mark. Playing for the NC is where is program sits. Let’s knock him when we have done better.

You’re right. That’s why it’s SEC Championship or Playoff or bust for O this year.

What did we say about not overreacting to the spring game?

Maybe, it would depend on the other conferences, for example I do not think we would have gotten in in 2015 at 11-1 with a loss to Bama, don’t think for 1 second LSU (or anyone else in the SEC for that matter) would get the same treatment as Alabama

Most likely we have to win the SEC to make the playoffs
