their current posts for a long time

The other name I’d list will surprise a lot of people. I think Ed Orgeron will last a long time at LSU. The hot seat talk last offseason came only from the uninformed, and Orgeron continues to upgrade LSU’s roster. It’s his dream job, so he isn’t going anywhere as long as he wins enough to keep the fans happy. That’s quite the trick, but Saban isn’t going to coach forever. If Coach O can hang on until the GOAT hangs it up, he might be able to retire in Baton Rouge.

Wouldn’t surprise me we have a complacent fan base and administration.

O could avg 9 wins the next 5 yrs and still have his job. And you’d still be posting just give him a chance.

The only thing that worries me is Bama coming for O after Nicky retires

Or he could do better than your prediction and you'd still be crying.

Wasn’t USC his dream job too though? I ask this seriously.

So the only reason he stays for a long time is because all associated with LSU are complacent ? So no chance we have a championship program in our future ?

If O doesn’t get this team to Atlanta and/or the CFP by 2021, he is gone. 9 win regular seasons and finishing 3rd-4th in the West isn’t going to cut it.

With O as head coach? No. No chance whatsoever.

I think it’s as likely as you being smarter than Cecil Collins.

Don’t forget Ole Miss.

If his stint at LSU comes at an untimely demise, Northwestern St. will be the new “dream job”.

They just won 10 games with no running backs, no offensive line, drop happy receivers, and a brand new QB. Seriously, no chance?

Ringing endorsement there. As long as he does the bare minimum he’ll retire there.

I’m pretty sure any job with “Head Coach” in the title is Ed O’s dream job.

Plus, he's recruiting really well and just plucked a guy from the Saints offensive staff that Payton really didn't want to see go. He's doing the right things. He talks funny so God help everyone.

I had a thread on this, but I'll remind this board that everything this fanbase feels about Orgeron is what Dabo went through when he first got hired at Clemson. Orgeron has actually been more successful at the beginning of his tenure.

Yep, Kirby has been head coach for a year longer than the other two.

Or are you talking about Eaux having to coach in the SEC West and the other two are in high school divisions? Or that Eaux has beaten Kirby head up? What was it 34-16?

I could See it.

I dont See our AD demanding an NC anytime soon.

O is willing to change out the parts to stay alive.

I think Brady will be here 2-5 years. Aranda will be here maybe 2-3 more.
