That would be a lot of prospective coaches "dream job" why do you think that you're making a legitimate point?
Because I’m not talking about “a lot of prospective head coaches”.
I’m talking about a guy who claims that LSU is his “dream job” just a few short years after telling the people at USC that their opening was his “dream job”. The same guy who, in all likelihood, would’ve told Syracuse that their gig was his “dream job” had they deigned to give him an interview.
That’s why.

How the frick old are you? Uhh, let me be the first to break the news...there is no Santa Claus, no unicorns, and the check is not in the mail...and, she doesn't really love you...

I would love to hear your reason for thinking he isn't doing a good job.

Lincoln Riley is 24-4 in his first two years with two division titles and a playoff appearance. In Kirby’s first two years he was 21-7 with an SEC East championship, SEC Championship, playoff appearance, Rose Bowl win and national championship appearance. In O’s first two years he was 7-16.
Fixed for accuracy

If he's at LSU for a long time, that means he is winning, and the team is successful. Everyone who supports LSU should hope that happens.

Why don't yall like Tiger Ree???
It's simple. Just like the whiners who are crying in this thread. They were doing this all off-season last year. I told them they were idiots.
Turns out they were idiots and now they blame me for their predicament. Either that or they really hate being proven wrong and made to look like the morons they truly are.
I don't blame them for hating me. If I was as clueless and "uninformed" as them and and some bright guy that knows what he is talking about and knows he's my daddy came in and stomped the crap out of me in front of the girl I have a crush on, my friends and family I would hate him also.

So 11 wins last year!

Well if that is your BIG gripe the LSU head coach must be doing pretty good.
He is the first coach to ever say something that wasn't true. Remember that Christmas when Saban said he wasn't leaving LSU. That's why he is still here. Remember when he said he wouldn't leave the Dolphins to coach at Alabama. That's why he is still the Miami coach.
Eaux is the first coach in recorded history to exaggerate. Either that or maybe he actually has multiple dream jobs. I'm sure the Miami Hurricanes would be a dream job for him.

Which makes my original point, Derek.
Any job with the words “Head Coach” in the title is his “dream job”.

Against one of the most difficult schedules in the country.

Or he could do better than your prediction and you'd still be crying.
If he doesn’t win a national championship in 5 seasons of being head coach, he’s failed at his job. Championships are all that matter. Runner up is just the first loser.

Like I said. a lot of prospective coaches would consider a head coaching job a dream job. I would imagine that a job like USC would be a dream job for a lot of coaches. LSU as well. You and the other haters here are grasping and it would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. fricking idiots all of you.

They just won 10 games with no running backs, no offensive line, drop happy receivers, and a brand new QB. Seriously, no chance?
Nope. Like it or not if O is going to win a championship he’s first got to beat Bama and he’s made no progress there. If you’re one of those delusional O fans who thinks we’d be gifted a playoff spot without winning our conference wake up.

The quickest way to get the rantards out and about is to post something positive about O. He’s been hiring guys and recruiting like crazy but no one will give him credit.
O could win a NC and the rant would say yaw yaw he didn’t win 5 in a row Joe Alleva sucks blah blah. This man will never get credit no matter what he does.

With O as head coach? No. No chance whatsoever.
If he recruits well enough he could do it. It's as much about the Jimmys and Joes as it is the Xs and Os. Not only that, it's about roster management. If he recruits and manages the roster, he can find the right coordinators to drive a championship program.
Saban is the GOAT but he wouldn't have those titles without the studs he stockpiles year after year.
You think Dabo is a coaching savant? Nah. He knows how to manage the program, recruit, motivate and he's had outstanding coordinators.
And no, before some fool questions whether I equate O with Saban or Dabo, I don't. I'm just pointing out that those guys have totally different styles and are successful because of stellar recruiting and overall management of their programs.
In the past 10 years only 5 coaches have won a NC and one of them was fired and is no longer a head coach. There are a lot of very successful coaches who have NOT won a NC.
It's okay for the jury to still be out on Orgeron but if he has a great season this year and next, I think you can say the verdict will be in.

First two years and he gets a New Years 6 bowl win. Id take that out of any HC we hired. Seriously dude, WTF is wrong with you.

Don’t forget that coach o is a bargain!!!
Posted on 4/10/19 at 7:28 am to Tiger Ree
O has completely redone our offense. Burrow looks like he could be a dark horse for the heisman with the way he looked in the spring game.
We put the SEC on notice last Saturday - LSU is back.
