On April 21, 2013, Alabama won the series against LSU in Tuscaloosa 1 game to 2. After creating the first moral series win (now, simply called the "Gaspard"), Alabama topped it off with a dogpile.
Drink in the satisfaction of them dogpiling a series loss while their former glory etched on the outfield is in the background. Very fitting.

around. My nephew was friends with Graveman while attending MSU and the stories are funny. Graveman told his catcher "Don't worry about this next pitch". lol

I was at that Sunday game in Starkville.
It's not that the pitch "buzzed" Katz, it was thrown a foot behind his head. All because Mason hit homeruns in the Friday and Saturday games, which LSU won.
The pitcher and Cohen should both have been ejected.

Cannizzaro is not an LSU guy. He's a Tulane guy. He grew up hating LSU I'm sure. For Paul to think he was going to be loyal to LSU after leaving is naive and dumb. Cannizzaro is going to recruit the best players he can. Period.

It's just funny that anyone on this site is butt hurt or worried about it. If CPM retired last year and LSU hired AC as the HC this site would have melted to the ground. State usually has a decent team, nothing has changed. Tigers take the series this weekend, likely SWEEP.

I find it strange that there was not a conversation ahead of time.
Typically the AD Cohen would have called LSU and informed them that they were looking at Andy.
Then Andy should have told CPM that they had had conversations.

I can assure you Andy has the utmost respect for LSU and will conduct himself in the most professional manner-- no bush league with Andy. I've know him since he was 5 -- my son is one of his best friends & was in his wedding. Andy is a first class ambassador for college baseball.
