And then instead of crushing them we did the usual “hey fellas, would you like to come back and make this a game?”

BK wants a championship team? He needs a team with a you know what instinct

True. I just hope this turns out to be a blessing and they are better prepared with the stretch going forward.

I understand what you're trying to say but Kelly is nowhere near as stubborn as Les was

The thought that we've seen Kelly's teams more confident down 10-0 or more in multiple games than they were last night up 17-7 is a crazy statement.

Sloane is a long way from being a championship caliber player caller IMO. The run game is as bland as a New Orleans gumbo and the passing game is not done any favors by only outside play calling. Just look how unique and unpredictable the 19 offense was. Different formations, different spits, etc which made it very hard to scheme against.

We don’t have the personnel either, we are short on many fronts, including attitude/instinct

Seem to be lacking that step on their throat mentality.

Guess they came back to BR on their shield.

The predictable 2nd down runs on damn near every possession are maddening.

It's so predictable, especially when first down is incomplete, it's always a run up the middle, usually for nothing on second down.

I agree with this and I would also go so far as to say that Nuss’s last two INT’s were coaching/tendency created.

The first one was all on Nuss, but the second the DB covering the slot receiver dropped off his man to jump the quick out route which is one of our go to throws if the outside receiver is getting off coverage.

The third pic the LB on the right side recognized the back coming out for the check down and slid around the backside and Nuss never saw him…

Well it should have been 23-7 at half.

Yes, it was even broken down on the broadcast. There was another throw late also almost intercepted on a quick hitch that was the same thing. None of those were ball placement issues. Elko is one of the great defensive minds. He was always going to eat Kelly and Sloanes lunch if they came out in missionary position.

So then we lose 38-29.

Nuss, the OL, and the second half D were all completely awful.

Kelly is a fraud.

It was obvious to any intelligent fan that the failure to capitalize on opportunities in the first half left TAMU in a position to come back at home. That's precisely what happened. The inability to take control of games on offense at key moments is attributable to horrible playcalling and poor execution in critical situations, both of which the coaches seem incapable of curing. It happened against USC, it happened last night, they couldn't finish drives with TDs against Arkansas either. The coaches are mediocrities who have built a team which embodies their mental deficiencies. Inexcusable loss.

Let's see what he does with Joe Sloan at the end of the season. If we lose another couple of games and the offense looks like hot garbage doing it, then he better make some adjustments to the coaching staff in the off-season.

We don't need another Les Miles/Cam Cameron situation.

We followed that 4th down stop with a low percentage throw to Lacy, who arguably could have caught it... But everything else was on the table, middle and seam shots.

We could have hit short with the timeouts we had, everything was there

But BK went into BK mode

Took the crowd out. Could have put the nail in on the next few drives but didn’t do shite.
