Well, last week he was dreaming of making the NCAAT or even hosting.

This week, he'll be dreaming of making the SEC tournament and count it as an accomplishment when they do.

And his worshipers will salivate over his getting the most out of his under-talented team.

We all know the answer to that. Unless he knows the BBQ recipe!

I think Mainieri has earned the benefit of the doubt that he will make necessary changes when the results are substandard.

I do enjoy BBQ, however. Would you like to dine at Sonny's this afternoon?

He should have known his bull pen sucks and thrown Hess until his arm fell off. Hess at 65% still better than bullpen—I am almost serious

Even this I disagree with, he pulled Hess at the right time, and then went to Bush, who has probably been your most reliable arm out of the pen this year. I certainly felt good about the decision at the time. It just didn't work out, which doesn't make Mainieri wrong.

The only thing I blame Mainieri for in last night's game was his handling of the lineup in the 9th inning. Webre was the wrong choice in that situation, and he should have bunted in the tying run with either Reid or Hughes. You have to get that tying run across with only one out. If they throw out the runner at home, it most likely takes a great play to do it. This team has not shown they can come through with that clutch hit.

BS. He is irreplaceable. There isn’t a better coach in the country and he’s got all those national seeds to prove it. The days of Skip are over. Take your national seeds and be happy to have them dammit.

The one thing Mainieri lacks that this fan base doesn’t is the ability to make decisions while knowing the outcome.

Post of the day!!!
And so true.

If the team is under talented and I am not saying they are. But if they are. He has been the HC coach for 13 years, he and he alone is the only one responsible for this lack of talent.

he’s better then Corbin and has as many titles as sully at Florida. You said these two were better then maineri. You also listed O’Connor at UVA who will miss the postseason this year. Who would you want to take LSU and win dynasties?
