The infield shift in baseball ( mostly used at the college level) is a poor defensive strategy imo. I wish I had batted against that crap.

Yeah. They would never use it in MLB and have to make a rule to stop it.

I’m 5’4” and 135 lbs.
With that said keyboard Big Boy, I’d have improved my batting average by 10-15%.

They wouldn't have shifted on you. They would have played the corners in, outfield fairly shallow, just like they did when you were playing. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the shift.
