I think it would take 40,000 LSU fans to reach a sellout.
Due to travel distance, I’m guessing 20-25,000 LSU fans attend, a huge number for that long of a trip.

I seriously doubt it will be anywhere close to a sellout. If LSU fans want tickets, they will have no trouble finding them. I expect it will be a large group of LSU fans, but not as many as the 30,000 that went to Green Bay.

Under the circumstances, I think we'll have around 15,000 for that game. Hope it's more, but I'm not that optimistic.

There are a ton of LSU people in the Los Angeles metro area.
Direct flights from places like Houston to LAX are pretty cheap

No shot this game sells out. Won’t even be close. Hope I’m wrong though. 25k tiger fans max. That’s a lot of visiting fans to be fair.

I was on the fence with this game bc of well…Cali being Cali about Covid, but with UCLA coming out with the game will be at 100% capacity this season myself and two buddies literally bought our flights yesterday from IAH to LAX. We will wait until closer to the game to buy tickets.
Only reason I tell this story is I’ve talked to 3 different groups of people I know who just did the same thing this past week. I think there will be 25K-30K LSU fans at this game.

LSU fans don’t really travel that well, in my experiences. Save for baseball.
They showed up in droves for the Oregon game in Arlington, I was pleasantly surprised.
Hopefully they surprise me again.
