The bullies are a hell of a lot better than a lot of you seem to think. We are not the only team that will have lost to the Dak Attack.

And yes, you are the only one who thinks we are doomed. Not a single other poster thinks so.

I'll still be at every home game, cheering on my tigers. But it's not always rainbows and unicorns.. And fans have that right to question wtf is going on. Now... GFY

that was the most embarrassing part and that clearly is miles fault. We are certainly slipping like so many say as a joke or in jest around here. But it's undeniable.

At the beginning of the season most reasonable people knew the team was young. And there would be growing pains. Now that what people knew would happen is happening people are freaking out.
Yes it was an ugly game/loss. But our team held together enough to get it where a td would've won the game. I think they'll improve all season. If Auburn and Florida and Ole Miss is a blow out. You can call it season over.

Even worse it was a home game. I can understand getting beat by a veteran QB on the road.. But getting dominated on our field, is unacceptable. Especially by miss state.

So im missing the point of, do you feel the season is over? no there are at least 8 more games left. Did you and all your les hating glory think we were going to win the sec and make the play offs this year? I sure as hell didnt.

All you guys seem to bitch and moan, so dont watch. If it pains you so much to watch this team then dont.

We have serious problems in the trenches. The season is not over for the sec championship but i think under this new system it will be almost impossible to make it into the playoff bowls. I respect all the players and coaches but we are getting killed in recruiting when it comes to our main competition.

Nope, but I sure as hell thought your genius coach could be Miss St. at home, at night, in front of the largest crowd ever, not to mention a team we haven't lost to in FOREVER. But your right, what we saw Saturday was just what everyone expected before season started. Get a clue man. No one thought they could play that horrible considering all the top recruiting classes genius Miles has pulled in. You see all theses other teams through out the country come in with true freshman and never have half the trouble Jennings had and he's been in the system or a year. Players leave LSU, but the one constant has been Miles and after hearing his idiotic ramblings this week, doesn't seem like he's going to change anything.

Anyway to get back to the topic. After the Auburn game, the season will be over. Hell, I'll say its over tomorrow night when Miles' shows that he really doesn't think the scheme is wrong and doesn't change a thing. They come out tomorrow night in the same formations as last week, the season mine as well be over because no change to offensive philosophy with this defense will be a quick end. And don't give me any of that there not opening the playbook crap till Auburn. That's always been a false hope.

A false hope and a shield against really having to face the glaring deficiencies of this HC - who has, like a hot knife cuts butter, made a living cutting thru and squandering some of the best football talent LSU has ever recruited. Didn't count on them leaving so early and now that butter is burning.

Then don't watch. I've watched us lose a shite load of games growing up. One loss isn't going to make me give up. shite if we lose our next 3 sec games I'm still going to cheer them on.

I'm still going to watch, and still hope they win, but the DL and OL make me feel like we lose 5 games this year if not more.

The one thing you must be able to do in the SEC is run the ball, and defend the run. We can't do either worth a fart right now, and there is no quick fix to it.

Yes everybody said as much.

Don't lie to yourself or anyone else here.

Nobody thought the defense would look that horrible. Most thought that the run defense couldn't get worse with Freak and Ego leaving, and it got horribly worse. Everybody joked addition by subtraction, but look now. Only three times last year did some team rush for more than 4.6 ypc on us. Those were UGA, MSU, and Arky. Only twice did teams rush for over 200 and that was MSU and Auburn. Auburn only ran for 4.1 ypc on 52 attempts. We thought the great secondary would be able to be put on an island, and let our safeties sneak up to aid in run support. That didn't happen against MSU, and they are probably only the third best passing attack we will face. How are we going to stop both Duke and Coates without safety help? How are we going to be able to stop their power run option offense without an safety help? People can say what they want, but the only reason K State was even in that game, was because Coates and Duke dropped easy TD passes and long passes. Marshall should have thrown for close to 400 and 5 TDs. Game should have been a blowout, or the very least, a 20 pt rout.

Also, nobody, not even the media, thought our OL would look garbage. As a matter of fact, that was exactly the opposite. Some media thought top 10 in the nation , most thought #2 or #3 in the SEC. Everybody thought we'd run 50 times a game, pass 20 times, and win by steamrolling the competition. That hasn't happened.

I think they'll improve all season

Is there any actual logic behind your thinking, or is it just blind faith? Not trying to disrespect, but what is your reasoning for thinking this? I mean sure I think they will improve, but is it enough to win 8 or 9 regular season games?
