I doubt they would have made the atmosphere better last sat night. I am sure we will get them but all the people saying we are so far behind the rest of the sec are drama queens...we are usually ahead of most programs when it comes to facilities...except for basketball lol

Great lighting improves concerts (venue depending, etc.), I kinda see this the same way. The band is still awesome but the lighting enhances the fan experience.

I'd like to see us get them but won't be mad if we don't.

From the words of Joe Dirt: “It’s not what you like, it’s what the consumers like” consumers being recruits. It’s just another selling point.

That wasn’t “young people” making that stadium “as loud as any place on the planet” last Saturday. The students did their thing like they have all year long (they’ve done great). But it was the old people with 20, 30, or more years of hate for Alabama that pushed that stadium to one of the all time great atmospheres last Saturday night.

Show some love for the get off my lawn crowd from this past weekend.

I don't care about LED lights at all one way or the other. This past weekend showed that it is the human factor that makes Tiger Stadium special when it IS special. Good old fashioned fans making noise and raising hell.

As others have said, there are likely other upgrades that would be more beneficial. On the other hand, if they did get the lights, I wouldn't be upset with that either.

It would be nice if they would just invest in a proper sound system

Goofy stuff that teams do to try to match our organic enthusiasm.

This gimmick stuff is for others, not us

I think a lot of you haven’t really been to a stadium that has LED lights/shows and so you really don’t know what they’re like.

That first game where LSU finally catches up with the rest of the big programs, y’all will enjoy it.

If the players, students, and recruits get pumped for it, i think it’s a good idea and will enjoy it too.

ETA: But if we do go down that rabbit hole, we need to find a way to make it ours. Not just copy off of the schools doing it.

Nope

We just need to bring it as fans like we did last Saturday night.

Go to yell. Drink alot or don’t I don’t care just be loud and rowdy as hell

Fans are what make tiger stadium come alive

Every thing else is gimmick and I don’t care one way or the other

Overrated. They can look cool, but Tiger Stadium is fine without them.

It’s not something I think about. Do I care that we don’t have them? No, not in the least. Would it be cool if we had them? Yes.

You will catch a lot of downvotes for this though.

Same. They are low on the priority in my opinion. Other than making the stadium purple for pre-game I don't see any real allure about them blinking all crazy like during a game.

What we DO need is the SEZ upper bowl concourse needs to be widened. Even during small games like New Mexico it's a pain in the arse to walk along the concourse withough having to cut through the concessions lines. And it's an absolute CLUSTERfrick for big games like last Saturday.

For example, To get from 414 to the Mens Restroom at halftime, you have to cut through 8 rows of people in line for concessions.
It's been like this for years. Long overdue for renovation/widening.

No. I couldn't care less. If LED lights are the deciding factor for coming to a game, then stay home.

Most of the players like the LEDs. They are the most important to please.

Seriously?

How long would these players be playing football if no one was watching? Why aren't the actual consumers the most important anymore? When did this change?

They’re brighter and more efficient, so I’m in favor of it on that front. The flashing on and off is dumb as frick and I hope we don’t do that. I already have a tough time seeing at night. Throw in the fact that I’m usually at least 6 beers deep in Tiger Stadium, I don’t need lights flashing on and off. Liable to bust my arse
