Good God I hope football brings us back from this feeling that we are just getting by. Basketball was so freaking miserable towards the last half of the season and now with this baseball season feeling much like the same.

I know there is time with baseball to finish strong, but man draining I tell ya!

Why people expect lsu major men's sports to be anything more than good is beyond me.

We aren't elite ... We don't play for championships. All three coaches are hated by more than 40 percent of the fanbase

If you like winners and sec teams then root for
Bama in football
Vandy in baseball
Kentucky in basketball

So we win a few series and get ranked in top 10 and lose 1 series barely and its doom and gloom.

I have hated tigerdroppings more this past season than ever before. It's miserable around here

This is ridiculous! Maybe not in basketball but for damn sure in football and baseball. Give me a fricking break!

Well kudos to you then if you have not felt one ounce of doom and gloom at all after the basketball season and at any point with this baseball season. Get on you

I never expected doodley squat from the basketball team.
As long as Tim Q was starting, they were doomed.

I stopped having hopes about hardball LSU when Zach Lee went pro.
frick putting my heart in knots over whether some kid pitches for LSU.
90% of the game is pitching.

I still have hopes about football. I am prayerful that Harris can make touch passes and hit the TE on the move over the middle.
I am hopeful that Aranda will play 8 guys on the D-line so they are all ready for the pounding they will get from Bama and Arkansas.

15-0.

Baseball wasn't supposed to be that good this year so I didn't expect much. The team has shown some signs of being dangerous but also lays down any given game. The heat will be on next year to perform in baseball.

Football has been allowed to screw around for the past several years so it's put up or shut up time for them.

In football we have been to how many sec championships in half a decade ?

We aren't elite. Get over it

It's very frustrating when your team's bats get dominated, but it happens from time to time. You're overreacting.

One difference for me, I don't think effort is an issue on the baseball team, at least not near to the widespread extent it was with hoops.

That is something I will never understand or accept.

Vicious cycle....

Football is supposed to rescue baseball which was supposed to rescue basketball which was supposed to rescue football. But, we're young in all sports so next year is our year.

I was actually relieved when basketball season was over. It was very difficult to watch that team over the course of the season. Just dejecting at times.

I truly believe that the new generation of lsu fans have seen so much mediocre production that they do not know what championship level sports even looks like

Oh no don't tell me a bunch of 18-22 year old athletes didn't live up to your personal expectations?
