I have been a Tiger fan since 1949, and I have NEVER hoped the Tigers would lose a game!!!

Unfortunately, I think he is here for another year regardless. He will fire all the offensive coaches and hire new ones and get one more shot next year
What OC worth a shite is going to want to come here without a guaranteed contract and be paid a large sum. They know Kelly is all but out the door.
Oh, and frick ever hiring a CEO type coach again. I want someone that can at least coach one side of the ball if it comes down to it.

You'd find a lot of kindred spirits over on the SEC rant and the Gator board.
Not sure many LSU fans feel that way. If you hate Kelly, then you want him gone now - why wait, or force the rest of the year on the fans and players?
If you like Kelly (or are neutral on him), then you probably want the best for the players, meaning winning whatever they can for the rest of the season.
A total collapse like you're describing would likely cause an exodus of good players from the roster, a loss of potential recruits during signing, and would cloud the potential for any good portal players trying to find a new home (at least, for portal players that think they have a chance at the NFL).

Yes. What have we come to.
Our society is becoming so messed up.
For the love of LSU and love of College Football.
We are 5-2… let’s cheer/fight to win out, that’s why we are fans.
This type of attitude could back fire on us and turn us into 500 team like Florida auburn texas (back in the day)

I'm not rooting for losses, but if we keep losing and finish 7-5 or whatever, I want him fired. And I don't want to wait another year to do so because if we can't make the playoffs in year 4, then he isn't getting us where we expect to be and very likely won't ever.
And if we're gonna be dumb enough to continue to have 50+ million buyouts because that's just part of being competitive as some people say, then I want to fire someone with a 50+ million buyout as soon as it's apparent that the coach won't get us to where we want to get because that's also part of being competitive. Dragging it out for another year is just dumb at that point. Don't delay the inevitable and make the fan base, players and recruiting suffer just because the buyout will go down some after another season of unmet expectations and dwindling fan support.
