The funny thing is that even though the media, Vegas and the entire country outside of Louisiana is picking us to lose...
Think about it... It's the perfect storm in their favor. The media and everyone else is picking against us, so why not take advantage of it? Placing the win total at 7.5 and pushing the O/Canada problems from last season has everyone betting under, when they know damn well this is at least an 8 win team. Vegas loves when people aren't sure about a big program, because they dang sure have their ways of finding out.

They media's picks don't matter at all. Only thing that matters is what peej picked. He he says Miami then LSU is golden.

Good. But for somebody with the comprehension skills of a pre-schooler I thought you would at least not use the positivity argument when you have shown the capacity for none in this particular thread so far.

I expect our offense to struggle mightily. To give a frame of reference, last years offense will be better.
Our defense will be really good.
If I’m wrong about the former and we are better than expected, not only will we win this game but we will be a threat to every team on our schedule.
If I’m right, out defense will have to be elite for us to have a chance in this game...which is possible.
If I’m wrong about our defense, this season and the game Sunday will be a miserable experience.

I haven't shown the capacity for positivity in this thread? Or haven't shown the capacity for "comprehension"? I simply answered your question. White was recruited by Frank Wilson and Ensminger while Les was still head coach. Yes, O was the recruiting coordinator. Accordingly, I'm not arguing he shouldn't get at least a small measure of credit for our signing White.
Nevertheless, this is a pointless exercise anyway. I've always thought the "Coach X recruited player Y so he gets all the credit!" arguments are fricking dumb and pointless. The head coach and his assistants coach the players on their roster regardless of who recruited them.
