Talked about a ton of other stuff w/ the ESPN guys this morning too. This looks like it mainly touches on his Miles comments.

Yet, he refused to let there be any speculation (which he characterized as a net plus for the football program) regarding Jonathan Jones and Nikki Fargas. Nice whitewash, brolleva.

Great job Joe!
Let's rehash it all again, will be back in the media again.
He needs to shut up and worry about being AD.

This year will be the same as almost every other under Leslie: 2-3 losses and winning nothing of significance. Every year people get their hopes up and every year ends the same.

Does anybody out there think Miles did not need to have a case of the fuzzy shits?

He has done better than that a few times. But I agree that we will have 2-3 losses

you snuck in the key word "almost". yes, almost every yr we lose 2 or 3 games. that's quite the compliment actually esp when the man has won 2 SEC titles, one NC and played for another.

in the SEC, on one other coach has done that. so, you may expect an NC every year but that will only ruin your enjoyment of LSU football, NO MATTER WHO THE COACH IS. saban didn't do better here either.

Les has lost at least 2 games in every season except one. So the guy's comments aren't exactly pulled from thin air. Even his NC included 2 losses.

God some of you are just miserable, useless frickers. Leave it to an LSU fan to tell us all why our last National Championship sucked and isn't legitimate, and our coach shouldn't have won it.

Some of you deserve a real life arse whipping.

Alleva was doing some PR for himself bringing this up. He's giving himself credit for shaking things up and IF the season goes better than last, he will take some credit for that, too. Obvious.

I'm no fan of Alleva but I agree with him. Coaches have done some things different this offseason and I don't think they would have had there been no speculation about Miles' job. Whether the differences pay off remains to be seen but I appreciate the effort.

This. Cards are absolutely stacked and his play is absolutely transparent. What an arse.

This man is a complete moron. He may be great at the financial aspect of his job but, has the front man for the LSU athletic department, he has been a horrible failure.

I suspect he had a hand in the Roy KIng dismissal as well.

We all need a wake-up call from time to time...but it doesn't mean that it has to be rehashed on national TV every few weeks....btw, did Alleva strain his arm patting himself on the back?!
