Everyone can calm down now.

Joe Alleva has stepped up and taken control of coaching the football team.

Thank God Joe Alleva is here to save LSU Football.

TLDR- Joe Alleva's is on the case and has got this so everyone can calm down now

LSU coach Ed Orgeron said he and athletic director Joe Alleva had a meeting with offensive coordinators Matt Canada and defensive coordinator Dave Aranda on Monday to make sure everyone was "on the same page." The reason was simple, Orgeron said: "We're not playing well." "We all know that," he said on the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday. "We wanted to see what we could correct, and we threw everything out on the table. I thought it was very positive."

Jeebus. We're a train wreck.

If nothing else, this does let us know they are feeling the fricking heat. That's a positive in my book.

Good fricking grief. What a clusterfrick. Joe alleva and ed orgeron talking about LSU football? Seriously, what good could have come out of that meeting? I say let Canada and aranda have a meeting by themselves and leave those 2 dumbasses outside in the hallway.

Guarantee both Aranda and Canada will jump ship after this year. They will get far away from these idiots. Then LSU is really F'ed!

Alleva has to go and then they'll either have to wait out the buyout or whatever to get rid of Orgeron. Depending on how much money they think it will cost them in revenue if they keep him. If they get it done at a minimum after next season the next administration will have a chance to make a good hire and salvage it somewhat. If they wait much longer then yes, we're fricked. There will still be some talent on the roster at that point so, I'm holding out hope that they get rid of him this year but I honestly think Orgeron isn't gone until after next season tanks as well. Alleva on the other hand might not make it through the football season this year.

I'm sure before dismissing, they all signed a notarized affidavit that said: "We're up shite creek without a paddle."

Never knew a shite show could get exponentially worse day to day but coach O is achieving that somehow. The AD coming in and trying to throw a marriage counselor meeting for the head coach and his coordinators is just great. ALL IS WELL! ALL IS WELL!

Why would they announce this meeting took place?

This is something internal that should NEVER be let out for the public to hear about.

Wow what a joke!

They needed to all be on the same page as in which song they are gonna pipe in during the start of the 4th quarter in the next home game, Uptown Funk You Up or Yeah by Usher & lil Jon?

What a staggering indictment of O. He apparently has so little intelligence and authority that an administrator has to meddle in the football program.

When the AD is getting involved in football in that capacity, things are horribly wrong.
That was my first thought, too. Sort of like a vote of confidence for a head coach....
