Absolutely. Alleva has a chance to endear himself to the fanbase with this hire.
He has the change to make LSU basketball relevant again.
This seems like a nick saban type hire. If that makes sense.

Zeigler is one of the reasons that I have doubted Dixon, because he just committed. Surely if Dixon thought this was a possibility, he would have told the father. They are close friends.

I'd be shocked if Dixon would seriously consider LSU. Like a poster on the pitt board said, "LSU? C'mon. That is like us coming after Les Miles."
