Yeah. I thought he signed that extension recently. It even said he signed it Wednesday. Didn't know how we were so confident that we would sign him

I am jusr asking. It would be very easy to do. Atlanta to Pittsburgh can't be more than a 2.5 hour flight.

Well they didn't meet 45 minutes ago because Dixon was on ESPN at that point.

Based on the current market for college basketball coaches, Dixon deserves more money whether he stays or goes elsewhere. I was surprised that someone with his credentials - coach of the year, National Under 19 team coach, etc. - was not paid more than he is.

If it's a ploy for more money, wouldn't he have gotten it from the threat of the TCU coaching search? They paid Trent 2.3 million.
It doesn't make any sense. He doesn't need a ploy for more money. He already could have accomplished that.

If Dixon did in fact meet with LSU, Pitt should be extremely worried. The motive for money won't fly with the TCU angle.
