Alleva apologist do not give a shite about Alleva. You will notice that those same people who you call "Alleva Apologist" are actually Orgeron apologist full time. They are insecure, because they know with a competent AD, their lover boy will be forced to make competent decisions as well (see the OC hire).
Also, they are extremely jealous of Will Wade, and the support he gets. That's all this is really about. They can deny it, and down vote all they want, but it's the sad truth.

What makes a board go round are people that have a conversation via a message board. Not someone who leaves a message to piss people off and walk away bc now they can’t deal with the fact that a majority doesn’t agree with them

I've wondered what position Ed's supporters take in this. Since the local media appear to be in the bag for Ed, it would stand to reason they would be slow to criticize Joe.

That's a bunch of bullshite. I think Will Wade is fantastic and was a great hire. I also think Coach O is great and was a good hire, time will tell. But I think aleva is a disaster when the pressure is on, he bumbles and stumbles like a 3 year old. I'm not sure if he can make the right decision and say the prudent thing when the pressure is on. Unbelievable how he is handling this situation, he's failed miserably.

A. Administering, managing, and leading the Department of Athletics at LSU A&M (the Department) in such a manner as to reflect positively on LSU at ALL TIMES.
B. Administering, managing, and leading the Department in such a manner as to allow its athletic teams to effectively compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) play.
9. Termination: This Agreement may be terminated by the parties as follows:
A. Termination by LSU for Cause.
2. Commission of Material Violation
(i) the violation occurs or continues to occur after ALLEVA knew or should have known that it was about to occur or was occurring
4. Knowingly engaging in conduct which:
(i) displays a continual, serious disrespect or disregard for the mission of LSU
(ii) brings ALLEVA or LSU into public disrepute, or negatively impacts the reputation of LSU

I don't buy into this BS. Simply put, I support O (so far.) I want both King Alexander AND Alleva gone asap. I want nothing more than to keep Wade. And frankly, I don't care if he's doing what the blue bloods are doing to get recruits here.
I've been a huge fan of Wade since way before we hired him. I watched Wade when possible and listened to his pressers since his 2nd gig at VCU.. wishing by some miracle we could get him soon. I was floored when we actually got him here.
So this doesn't make any sense to me. Saying I want Alleva to stick around to appease some selfish motive at the expense of us winning is just stupid.
I love LSU and want nothing more than to see them win championships in EVERYTHING from swim/diving to football.
I'm willing to give O a chance to bring us to the promise land, but I'm not giving him 40 years to do it. However, I'm aware of what the roster looked like when his binder was accepted. I knew it would take a few years to get the roster to championship form.

LSU athletic program is making money hand over fist, more than ever. LSU’s football team was ranked 6th (projected to finish fifth in their conference division) in the country after a very difficult schedule. The basketball team is a no. 3 seed in the NCAA tourney. Baseball was preseason no. 1 and is still top 10. Gymnastics is ranked no. 4 in the country. LSU’s softball team is ranked in the top 10. LSU mens tennis is ranked no. 20 in the country. LSU mens golf is ranked in the top 10 in the country. Women and men are top 10 in the country in track & field.
Clearly the state of LSU athletics is in bad shape. What are we going to do with such terrible results?
