Hands down - LSU/Notre Dame 1970. American Bank offered a special package if you joined their "Young Americans" club. Had to be under 35 and sign up for a Visa credit card. The trip cost $100 and included a round trip charter flight, 2 nights at the Chicago Hilton, charter bus ticket to South Bend, and game ticket. Monster of a football game. Notre Dame ranked #1, LSU # 7. The game was a virtual standoff with Notre Dame kicking a game winning field goal in the last minute after a contoversial intererence call on LSU. Joe Theisman was QB for ND, Bert Jones for LSU. The next day the Chicago Tribune sports page headline read "If Notre Dame is #1 LSU is #1a. Unbelievable trip.

The Alabama Pigs Fly Game. Man, that was a great trip, and at one point, we really were scrounding through hte cushions to find change to buy enough gas to get home. We spent just a little bit too much on alcohol that week.

We had no expectation of winning. and then we did. The only good thing about the Hallman era was that any win was a party.

2003 SEC championship game.
saw jv's mom before the game, and yelled at her, "JV for heisman"
got tickets from a friend's dad. tickets ended up being aisle seats, which was sweet, but the tiger band was on the other side of the aisle. took pictures with mike and the golden girls, got to play the drums after a defensive stop, and lsu stomped uga.
scored free olive garden in b-ham on the way home, cause the manager was a tiger fan.
got the news on the way home that we would play for the national championship.
awesome weekend

Either:

Baseball CWS 2000

-or-

Football SEC Championship 2007

-or-

Baseball SEC Tournament 2007

I'm not considering either national championship a road trip.

2000 Peach Bowl

Drove from SLC, UT to Albuquerque, NM to BR to ATL to Hilton Head Island, SC to St Louis to Minneapolis(watched the Saints be the Saints), and back through Rushmore and Crazy Horse.

Over 5,000 miles and 2 weeks.

It's the best b/c my brother and I started the chant that put Davey into the game for the 2nd half.

What are you smokin? Those were the absolute worst bowls I've been to this decade. Lost both, and both were boring games anyway.

No way, Orlando was great, and so was Dallas, I don't really care too much about the outcome...it's almost 2009 man, wake up.

I thought the entire Cotton Bowl atmosphere was awful. 11am kickoff in Dallas with a horrible team and Marcus Randall at the helm. We got blown out with Roy Williams just toying with us the whole game. It was a little chilly and windy. Awful memories.

I guess the Cap One wasnt too bad though. Better than the Cotton, thats for sure!
