All of the SEC teams are building new stadiums

Will LSU fall behind? Hopefully they take a pro active approach but I haven't heard anything yet. (Baseball)

I think there's plenty of room to expand Alex Box in order to keep up with everyone. Replace all the bleacher seats with chair backs and add a berm somewhere in the outfield.

If LSU wins a title I'm sure there will be talks about a renovation/expansion.
We need all chairbacks, more club seating/suites, an actual student section (think Ole Miss/Alabama berm), new scoreboard, and a 360 degree concourse.
Not opposed to cut seating if it was all chairback. would be nice to expand on the grandstand and offer more standing room seats
eta: also the tabasco bottle spewing out sauce and a water fixture somewhere just because

the new Box opened in 2009. it's 8 years old and is one of the nicest facilities in college baseball and one of the hardest for opponents to win in.
could it use a few improvements? sure, all stadiums do as they age and times change. but build a new one, just because other schools are? you are missing a few chromosomes.

The new box is a victim of being built before the big push of new sec baseball stadiums. So while the new box had innovation at the time the new parks have taken those aspects and made better parks. The new box is falling behind in the sec. It needs a renovation starting with chair backs down the lines. That was part of the original plan.

People don't ever like the truth. The new box clearly isn't bad or anything but there's aspects of it that are lacking since newer stadiums have been built.
