I think many of us were focused on Ole Miss and tGumps, and feeling good they were both at home, now all of a sudden, none of our future games appear gimmes. The Piggies and Aggies always play us tough, and Vandy’s QB is the type even our good defenses have had trouble with.

The chaos we witnessed yesterday appears likely to be the new norm. Parity is definitely here

Is the schedule really a gauntlet? Or is is that we are an average team at best?

Our schedule has been a gauntlet ever since we were exposed for being a bad team against USCe in the first half

Let’s not act like Bama fans and blame losses on “parity”. There’s more parity, but our losses this year have much more to do with us being a bad team.

After both USC games I predicted LSU would end in 5 losses. Last night has nothing to do with that. We aren’t good.

Id say a little if both. We aren’t that good and perennial bad teams are a little better. Our schedule is definitely a gauntlet.

Both can be true. But before NIL and the portal, Vandy doesn’t have a QB that good, nor does Ole Miss actually have a defense.

Like last year, I think we will score points on everyone we play, but I have no confidence we can stop even average SEC offenses when we still seem to think Sage Ryan and Major Burns are the best we have to play at DB.

Our defense is figuring it out.
We’re about to run the table.

Out of the remaining games the only one I really walked away from today more concerned about is the A&M game. They looked like their full potential but I will add that Mizzou was never #9 worthy. They are good but were never a legit CFP threat.

Arkansas did not look great. Tennessee just messed around. Bama looked awful and Vandy jumped out on them.

Where’s the land mine aside from A&M? Our staff now has film on all of these guys to prepare for. There’s no sneaking up on anyone. Good job Vandy. Good job Arkansas you caught them off guard. A&M was good all along and finally got their QB back.

OM- Top 10
@ark- Coming off upsetting Tenn
@A&M- Destroyed Mizz will be top 15 ranking
Bama Top 10 ranking
@Florida- might be the weakest remaining, but showing signs of life
Vandy- Just upset #1
OU- Ranked team

you decide

Every team we have remaining will be a dogfight...LSU may be a double digit favorite over Vandy, maybe, but all other games will be single digits one way or the other.

You would think so but man things change quickly in this sport. Don’t expect the same Arkansas and Vandy teams to show up vs LSU. There’s been plenty of times where we all expect a close game and it’s a beat down (Missouri at TAMU)

We're inconsistent, and it's frustrating... but we're not bad.

On the flip side:
- I'd imagine we'll be underdogs vs Ole Miss & Bama.
- Ark, A&M, Oklahoma don't look easy.
- Vandy, while still Vandy, just knocked off Bama, and may be inspired... so doesn't look as easy as it should.
- Florida may be easiest remaining game. And they have good athletes, even if they are dysfunctional.

Not a gauntlet, but little room for error / an off week... which is a concern for an inconsistent LSU team.

Every game looks winnable & losable.

Assuming LSU plays the way they have all season….Best case scenario is likely 3 losses…Not out of the question to end up with 5 losses

If the defense keeps getting better they'll be fine. Still got us at 2 or 3 losses overall. We'll see i guess.

The difference, what everyone sees at least, are the defenses of the other teams. They are all very solid.
LSU will have to win with offense and I’m not sure that there’s enough, especially against teams like TAMU. Their defense is excellent. Now their QB is back

I’d say we’re above average if we beat most of them… Tennessee & Bama are above average teams & still lost
