Valid argument. Enjoy it with your family if that’s what makes you and them happy.

Don’t think LSU wants to take the hit in revenue but I’m all for it.

You can’t get 25% of the stadium full with only students. Even with zero covid, the student section doesn’t make up close to 25% of the stadium and other than big conference games, students don’t show.

Also the students arent going to sit distanced in little groups from other students like they are going to separate little patches of the paying fan base.

Agree. Give them all to students. I’d donate mine.

I agree with the OP on this too. Let the students have the stadium this year, along with the band (and no censoring the band). Make it a point of emphasis on campus (and with the band) to kick the energy up as much as possible.

frick, let 'em play Neck continuously if it keeps the kids in the stadium all game.

At first as I read that, I thought “phuck that”.

Then I thought “he’s got a point”...

My only thing I’d throw in would be that, baring an emergency, they have to stay til the end of the game.

Agree completely. Let any student with a valid LSU ID in, just like when I was there. I'll wager that the majority of downvotes are from non-Alumni.

Lmao no thanks, they can go be low energy and quit watching at halftime at home. I’ll use my tickets and enjoy it

Brings up another point, kids should be left at home this season.

As well as old folks. Anyone who's not gonna bring it for 4 quarters should sit this one out.

Depends on what you mean by "kids".

We didn't have season tickets when I was growing up, so going to a game was a pretty special event for young me. We stayed, and lingered, even after losses. If this is your mindset, go. But if you want to go for an hour and then leave, don't do it this year.

And let the students have as much of the 25% percent as possible.

The same dipshits (collectively) that have ruined Neck for a decade? Yeah I don’t think so.

You think that many students care or want to go to the games? It's not like it used to be.

Irrelevant. Football is about the school, the students ARE the school. They should get first shot at any and all tickets.

While I don't completely disagree with the idea, it's not as cut and dry as season ticket holders being old people versus students. Many season ticket holders take their children to games and it is a huge highlight of their childhood.

Then those children need to go to that school when they are old enough.

Like I posted above, football is about the school and the students are the school.

And the school doesn’t owe you shite. Without the students, there is no school.
