This is a great TEAM. Blake Dean didnt hit very well and the bottom of the lineup wasnt spectacular and even the pitching wasnt great during the finals but this team battled and deserves this. Back to Back?

I guess the 5 HRs he gave up the other day ruin his chances.

I don't have a problem with JMitch as MVP, but I would haved voted for DJ.

I thought the same thing. Not sure of his final stats, but the 2-out 3-run jack against Arkie, the go-ahead RBI in both wins over Texas, and his defense were all crucial.

Oh well, I'm sure he won't lose sleep over it.

I can't believe Helenihi didn't make it. Maybe if he would have just hit a few points higher. But on a serious note, he probably played one of the best 3rd bases ever in the CWS. Outstanding Job defensively!

Try about 200 points higher. Excellent glove, though.

Yeah, he had some great plays in the field, and two clutch hits.

Mitchell is outstanding and had some great moments, but I think I'm with you. Maybe Co-MVPs? I know LeMahieu didn't bat 1.000, but I can't remember a single bad play, bad at-bat, bad anything about his performance in Omaha...solid as a rock.

IMO, Mikie and Nola should both be on that team. Nola played great defense and had some timely hits also.
