Why do you hate LSU? Do you have a team that you like?

Rondell Mealey had a good career at LSU and was drafted by the Green Bay packers. Not exactly a bust at LSU.

The team could be coached by Bo Rein, Steve Spurrier or Bobby Bowden.

Didn't big baby play RB at U High? I lol thinking of him against 2A lineman, even though he was probably soft.

I am always amazed at the Josh Reed situation. How can a guy be coached by supposed experts and yet they don't figure out till the end he is an All-American receiver.

That's a fairly low blow...I'd never call a guy that got injured a bust.

The subject of the OP said the All-"What Could Have Been" Team. It did not say "Biggest Bust" team. It is simply a list of players that for one reason or another never reached the potential expected when they signed with LSU.

The reasons for them not reaching that potential could be anything kicked off of the team, illness, injury, transferred, played another sport, etc. For example, if Chad Jones would have given up football last summer to focus on baseball, then he would qualify for this list, but it doesn't make him a bust or a bad guy.

I'm partial because I graduated with him, but Derron Parquet. Tore up the Catholic Leagues in New Orleans and was a national recruit. Came in 2000 and from what a former player told me he was just a goof off. Left after a season, ended up at Memphis, set a car on fire and then was at some small school.

Get well Derron if you happen to read this.

I mean stuck at the bottom of the running back depth chart till the QB tells the coaches this guy has great hands and runs great routes. If I'm not mistaken he was in that position for 2 years.

What was the QB's name that played behind Davey and Booty, transferred to Northwestern, and played in Green Bay for quite a few years? Him!
