Young Bussy problem was drinking, he was doing the Tebow jump pass before Tim's parents were born. Watch the 1938 Sugar Bowl film and you have Young and Ken on the same field, wow.


Nelson Stokley 3 injuries destoryed an All American type.

Abe Mickel see above, was the best QB in America in 1933, to finish at LSU as the 2nd team QB in 1934 and 1935.

Way before our time John "Bill" Jacob Seip 1907-08-09, got hurt playing at Suquehanna University 1906 and would play hurt at LSU for three years. He could make a one hand catch with no problem.

Stan Humphreys - QB behind Wickersham in the early-mid 80's. Transferred to NLU (?) and I think he started a Super Bowl for some NFL team.

He was better than any of the other "could have been" QB's listed.

Could also add:

Timmy Byrd (backup behind Risher and transferred to USM)
Lester Ricard (QB who transferred to Tulane)
Karl Bernard - RB in the early 80's; transferred to USL.
