These guys aren’t being talked about enough. Everyone is hyping up our secondary which they should, but if Daronte can get our defense back to being aggressive how LSU really plays D. I think these guys are 2 of the best pass rushers in the league. Ali Gaye has top 10 draft pick potential in my opinion. Our entire defensive line is frickin stacked.

Your right. The dline is stacked and should be good for us this year. Andre Anthony, BJ and Gaye will all be top 10 in sacks this year for the SEC potentially. But I’ll believe when I see it.

After what happened last year I think most of us are at that stage. “I’ll believe when I see it”.

I don't understand the down votes these two are definitely not being talked about.

If ali gaye brings it like he did last year in beginning of year, playing like his hair is on fire. And then bj ojulari plays like he did at end of year...

Yikes... this will be the thing that puts us over the edge and allows the top two CBs in the nation to snag some interceptions.

I think Gaye has potential to be a great pass rusher, he has shown flashes. I think he needs more time, you have to remember this guy just got his time to shine last season. I think saying he’s ok undervalues him IMO. He was one of our best pass rushers last season, and will do the same this season.

This is the truth. Ali Gaye has great measurables and is a very good pass rusher. he was mauled in the running game. We’ll see if he gets that fixed. If he does I could see him sneaking into the first round. If he doesn’t he’s third round tops.

Ali gaye would have to make a huge leap to be a top 10 pick.

At this point he isn't close to a first rounder.

I'm an ali gaye guy. Called him as a starter way before the season.

Yeah I don’t think Pelini was the only problem on defense last year. We have other coaches who were on that staff including the head coach. We have talent and potential but I just don’t think they’ll come out dominant like some fans expect. We can all hope but not sure it’s gonna happen.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

He has shown flashes of being unblockable. In several games last year he was in the backfield literally every drop back pass play. He just needs to be more consistent.

Don't know about top 10 but he definitely could have higher draft grade potential if he's more consistent.

Look it’s possible. No one had Burrow going in the 1st much less 1st overall in August of 2019. Gaye has NFL size just has to put it together on the field. Right now he is a 3rd pick at worst. He can make himself a lot of money by having a 10+ sack year.

Linebacker play is key to the entire season. Unless you can drop down a bigger safety. That why losing Hampton hurt. I felt like we could be one of those types of athletes that could drop down.

We are gonna give opposing QBs Gaye BJs in the fall. They won't know what hit em.

Then their defense is gonna get a Max Johnson in them
