USM has decided to be a baseball school. They call Hattiesburg, Baseburg, because they are all in. These smaller schools are starting to understand that they will never be able to compete in football but can compete in baseball through resource allocation.
Baseball will always be important to LSU but don’t be surprised when schools like USM put additional resources towards other sports besides football

A lot of them do. Which is why I don’t understand the constant complaining about The Box. I love that place as is. I don’t need anything to change.
I mean I can probably help you understand. Sitting in the sun on metal bleachers for a day game in May or June while paying $20 for a beer and hotdog kinda sucks. It’s ok to admit that there are other places that have a more enjoyable atmosphere for the average fan.

I can guarantee you can’t help me with anything.
All you do is complain.
Let me see if I can help you.
Don’t like bleachers pay for other seats. Don’t have money for beer and hot dog, don’t buy them. Not to mention prices aren’t gonna go down for those items if they upgrade the stadium.

I’m not sure if you understand what I’m saying. I don’t pay for bleacher seats. If I go to a game, I’ll make sure to get seat backs. But I live out of town, so it’s easier for me to do that for only one series. I feel for people who want to go and support the team on a midweek game or something and are stuck sitting on metal bleachers for hours. That just sucks. I’ve got money for a beer and hotdogs. However, I think it would be awesome if fans could also grill and bring their own stuff in like they do at other schools.
Once again, it’s ok to recognize the fact that there are better stadium experiences out there. Doing that doesn’t make anyone a bad fan or mean that they hate LSU.

Save it.
The people in the bleachers don’t mind the bleachers.
You can also cook and drink whatever the frick you want across the street or at your tailgate.
We don’t need an open cooking area and BYOB inside Alex Box. GTFO with that idea.
You don’t even go the games. You’re input is moot.
I wish it was mute.

I don’t think players really give a shite about how many social spaces exist in a ballpark
Sure, but the batter's eye and expanded indoor facility aren't for the fans.

The batter’s eye needs a redo no doubt.

Why can’t fans just go to the game sit in their seats and enjoy having the best CBB program in the nation.I enjoy going to the BOX and have no issue with the facilities. Why does everybody have to keep up with the Jones, it ain’t hurting recruiting and selling season tickets.Stay home and watch if it’s so bad
Putting metal bleachers down the baselines are cheap.

You don’t think people sitting in bleachers would like them to be chair backs? Lol ok.

Well yeah but that’s not at the game, which is what I’m talking about.

I go to games when I can. I use to go all the time when I was able to. I’m certainly allowed to have an opinion.
Why are you so against the idea of fans having a better stadium experience? Serious question.

Not when your opinion is unsolicited. You decided to reply to me with a smart arse comment when I was speaking to someone else.
So please feel free to shut up now.

There’s not a more ignorant group of people on this site than the one who gets all pissy and defensive whenever someone suggests upgrading the raggedy parts of the Box, while also attempting to claim that improving the fan experience will somehow hurt the product on the field.

Welcome to message board man. That’s how it works. I can respond to you, just like you responded to another poster. That’s the entire point of this website.
I’m still waiting for you to answer why you are so against improving the fan experience.

So you mean the group of pissy arse bitches who constantly complain about a ballpark they rarely ever go to??
It’s a baseball game. You go to watch baseball. It’s not there to provide you with something to do other than watch baseball. Shut the frick up.
As long you idiots continue to bitch I’m going to continue to call you idiots out.

You provide your unsolicited opinion, get a response you don’t like and then ask why you can’t have an opinion.
You were definitely raised by women.

I’d rather be in Omaha than upgrades to the stadium.
