I've made this comment plenty of times in other threads where people talk about LSU having the best facilities. And while that was partially true when the stadium was finished (the player experience was second to none), that is no longer the case by a long shot.
We never had the best fan experience or stadium based on looks and feel. And we are being lapped in that regard now. However, the player experience is still competitive based on what's available to them in and around the stadium. Again though, we are no longer the only facility with a sweet locker room, player lounge, trainer's room, etc. at the field.

Asked about that yesterday and was told it won't be up for this season. Kind of figured that was the case since there was no evidence of it being installed yet.
Never ready on time.

I think the new upgrades to the players facilities will put them back up there at the top of the country. I understand the fan complaints but I also understand the administration deciding to catch up with the player experience first before going to fan experience. Without the players you don’t have the fans.

Better concession would be great...how can we have such incredible food here in South louisiana....and the worst food at sporting events....only thing that I buy anymore is water or a drink
The baseball atmosphere could be made a lot better with good concessions. Sitting around for three to four hours with the kind of shite food even mid-westerners would call bad is ridiculous.
They would do well having more local options, like City Pork a few years back, but you know the Joe Alleva brain trust probably would charge too much rent and kill it.
While we are bitching, what numbnuts designed the parking flow for that place? Even 4,000 fans and its another LSU traffic monkey frick. One two lane road for the whole stadium - and people wonder why they couldn't figure out things like outfield seating and layout.

They went cheap on the box just to get it built.
They should have done it right the first time no matter the cost.
I believe South Carolina is also used for some minor league team and that's why it got built with help from the minor league team.
If Baton Rouge ever wanted a minor league team, maybe that's an avenue to pursue the upgrades all throughout this thread, then you have a tenant once college season ends.
