Seems like a half-assed fundraiser to me.

This athletic department sure does fricking love its premium seating at premium prices while continuing to do nothing but raise prices of everything on everyone else as well.

I do not like the design either I have a feeling it’s going to look bad and even take away from the atmosphere. The bullpens are out of play great but this better be just the first phase of major renovation.

Embarrassing half assed attempt. at least they got the home bullpen moved. We are better than this. We dont need any more premium seats. Get rid of the bleachers and put in chair backs for the regular folks

I think the right thing to do for premium seating would have been to add to the suites that we already have. Extend the suites, roof, and concourse down both sides. Pretty sure there is more money to made from those. Move both bullpens and leave field as is.
Of course though, money is always an issue but this just looks/feels like a cheap attempt at a money grab hiding behind “renovations”.

A. the field is definitely not above the seats.
B. The coaches and players are actually in a place that is "dugout" and lower than field level. They don't seem to complain about the view.
