You talking about that toy box Tennessee plays in?

New Alex Box was state of the art when initially built. What these mouth breathers don't realize is that stadium technology improved like crazy in the decade after. Honestly I'm sure LSU will eventually spot a little upgrade here and there. At the end of the day we need a new basketball stadium first.

Let’s just agree that you are jumping on the contrarian bandwagon and finding reasons to bitch about something in an attempt make yourself seem enlightened. It’s a fricking ballpark. It’s not supposed to be completely catered to your individual wants, needs missing happiness or outlandish desires. It’s meant to house the spectators and appeal to the masses. The absolute overwhelming majority of people like it just like it is. Especially since it delivers on the actual product it is meant to showcase. Unfortunately the self important loud mouths on here that continuously bitch about the “shitty fan experience” and probably every aspect of their life, have a platform to do so.

It might keep them from winning a 3rd in 4 years. Players don't sit in the bleachers or give a crap about the concessions.

Tennessee had trouble filling their baseball stadium before it was expanded. Dudy Noble is spectacular and packed every game. Two completely different classes of baseball experiences.
As for the Box, any upgrades will certainly be suites and clubs. Won’t benefit me at all. There’s no money in upgrading bleachers.

I've never seen so many grown men cry about a stadium! You're there to watch a baseball game, not get wined and dined at a fancy place.

We do look the part, on the field, where it matters.

No it’s not. I went 2 years ago for the LSU series. It was maybe half full for the Saturday game. I bought 3 tickets for $100 in the grandstand. It’s a great ballpark but let’s not act like it’s Fenway park.

And way ahead of the other 13 SEC baseball stadiums.

It amazes me how many of y’all get pissed when some of us say that Alex Box needs upgrades
If that’s all y’all were saying you’d be rght.

They need to extend the upper level down the baselines.

Yep, it's a pretty stadium with great amenities etc.
You have to accept the fact that upgrading the Box is just not a priority.
Even if it's paid in monthly installments, we're on the hook for $50 +million for Kelly and another 6+ for McMahon. We're now obligated to pay $20,000,000 in revenue sharing to athletes.
Nothing has been settled about the new arena and Tiger Stadium still needs work and Football is the cash cow.
We have some generous donors but their resources are not limitless and you can only float so many bonds for capital.
Plus, there are needs on the academic side and has some shortcomings as a flagship for the state. Not that anyone cares. It's Louisiana.
The Box is what it is.

You think that’s why I’m saying this? Lol. I’ve been to many games at Alex Box over the years. I think there are ways that they can make it more enjoyable for the fan. That’s it. I’m not sure why you think it’s so bad to say that.

I’ve never seen someone get so upset because another fans said they wanted some chair backs.

Can I ask what exactly you are including in the “state of the art” comment and what you are including in the “stadium technology” comment as well?

If you ever get to visit the left field lofts at Dudy Noble you might change your mind. Fenway by the way is old and nostalgic, but not all that nice.

Ever been to Cameron Indoor Stadium? I can assure you, the top players in the sport don't go to Duke because of how nice Cameron is.....likewise, they aren't coming to LSU because of hiw nice the Box is (or staying away because of how nice it isn't)
and they all stood up and said AMEN!!!

Yeah, but they're WAY BEHIND LSU in national championships
