I'm more confident in our offense finagling 10-13 points than i am stopping their run game.

I swear you're a rickydaddy clone.

lord, no!!

I fought with Rickdaddy the last couple years about Miles' drastic underachievement, with elite talent, and the need for him to go. Rick and I went at it on that issue.

But I do agree with him that the O hire, and the "search" was a debacle. I think I'm in the majority on that, even though we're playing better.

See the Miss State game for the called back TD for phantom OPI as an example.

According to the rules, that was the right call. You can run the rub without actually hitting the defender, and now they are going to call that all day long. They executed. Our guy should have at least tried to avoid the defender and that would have been enough for Chark to get separation.

Not many will disagree, I won't, but that has nothing to do with the discussion.

If I remember correctly, he did avoid him and never actually made significant contact and only altered his path by getting 2 DBs tangled up. The announcers even made it clear that it was a bad call. I think it is a point of emphasis though for that call to be sensitive.

LSU executed what's often referred to as a "rub route," Blackledge says on air. State defensive back Mark McLaurin picks up Chark, in motion from left to right before the snap, in man coverage. Sullivan effects the route, tangling up two defensive backs, McLaurin and his own man, Tolando Cleveland, to leave Chark wide open.

of course the head of officiating isn't gonna say it was a bad call, but it was. Sullivan forced his DB into the DB covering Chark.

Missing the point. It wasn't just about the yards and points, it's the diversity of what we ran.

Again, I loved having Guice and Williams in the backfield together. If Williams is on point, hard thing to defend.
