“Once they line up in a final formation, they’re running the same offense they’ve always ran,” Alabama safety Minkah Fitzpatrick said. “It’s just more window dressing. Like I said, just moving all over the place.”

I hope they believe setting the edge is less important that clogging the middle. That plays into Canada's hands. I highly doubt that actually the case though.

We still aren't a great passing team but we aren't running 2 TEs, FB and a TB and running it up the middle 80% of the time.

Our Guice/Williams formations were as innovative as I've seen watching an LSU offense.

I hope Canada runs 5 different plays from the same formation to start the game.

They sound a little nervous about facing this offense.

I mean...he’s not lying. It’s still Zone, Pin and and Pull with the occasional inside trap

What he’s saying is we still are not a threat to pass.

I don't know if y'all know about this coach they got, Nick something, but I doubt he's going to let his team be complacent.

In fact, it makes these statements seem suspect.

Edit: But I do agree with you. that that's how upsets happen.

I think this offense took big strides against Ole Miss, closer to what I think Canada wants to run. If I'm correct, that's a small sample size for bama to look at and prepare to defend. Plus we've had an extra week to fine tune it even more.

I think we are going to utilize passing to the running backs more this game. We started to show it against Ole Miss. Remember two years ago when Fournette was open in the middle of the field and Brandon missed him. The middle of the field is usually WIDE arse open against the pass.
