Alabama had a former professional basketball player play five games for them last season..

He averaged 10 points per game in five SEC games (not games against early season cupcakes).
He eventually had to leave the team but Alabama was not forced to forfeit those games and still got to play in the NCAA tournament.

LSU isn’t gonna play these guys with even the possibility of postseason ban or forfeiting games. They’ll have their asses covered (legally).

I don’t think most people that downvoted my post understood my point. I’m saying that the fact that LSU is playing these players already means they are confident in their legal standing. Thought that was obvious.

And Ole Miss just signed a basketball player (Devontae Shuler) who signed a 10 day contract with an NBA team and played in the NBA Summer League. You don't hear the media talking about them. It is just attack LSU. Just like when the NFL punished the Saints and ignored when the other teams claimed to have been doing the same thing.
