It has to be 2:30, right? There's no way it can't be 2:30. For years we've been told a 2:30 game is the sign of top football program. Only bottom dwellers play at 7.

CBS gets one primetime slot per season under their contract, and they haven't used it yet. Before LSU lost to Ole Miss, it was a no-brainer.
I suspect they are eyeing the Iron Bowl.

They've already announced that their prime time double header is on Nov 9. If they want the iron bowl in prime time, they'll have to make a deal with ESPN like they did in 2011 for LSU-Bama.

Exactly my point. The best games are at 7, not 2:30. Tired of the load of shite that we have to always play our best home games at 2:30.
