All projections. LSU could go undefeated and win a NC and 'Bama could suffer 2 losses.

Then, who cares about 1st or 2nd team All SEC? Except for maybe the athlete who's looking to get an NFL deal...

We have a lot of young, unproven talent. What matters is how we end the season, not preseason lists.

LSU doesn't have a lot of star players.

We do have a really consistent team all the way across and we have a lot of depth.

We lost Barksdale, Nevis, Sheppard, Toliver and Peterson. Our "star" players at each of their positions. Arkansas for instance lost barely anyone outside of Mallett. Pre-season lists go largely based on production from last season, less-so on potential. Which is fine by me, because the list that actually matters comes out after the season plays out.

At least proven.

Our potential "Star" players are really young...
Freak Johnson
Tyrann Mathieu
Craig Loston/Eric Reid (whoever starts)
Spencer Ware

Rueben Randle isn't "young" but is definitely primed to breakout this year if the QB can get him the damn ball

I think people are selling Ar-Kansas short. They can easily make a run in the SEC West. They were a really good football team last year and if Wilson comes in and tears it up like he did last year, Arkansas might be SEC champions. All depends on Wilson.

Actually true, but I didn't count Special Teams. The gap grows larger if you count Special Teams...

also guys like Sam Montgomery, and Will Blackwell who had 2nd to 3rd team potential where hurt las tyear, and sorta out of the running. I think sam is sorta either forgoten or a question mark wiht his knee But i think he coudl be 1st or second team at the end of the season

we don't have any superstars, but have a ton of potential, it's ok if we're underrated in the pre-season

Why post on a discussion board if this is how you are going to respond to a post about projections?
