Fontenot threw 23 pitches yesterday. He can’t give you two outs today? He’s not closer material then

That’s quite the leap to make on opening weekend.

Oh. I thought it was for PM to see if he can work his way out of jams... our senior pitcher... at least according to GeorgeTheGreek...

So we are willing to lose a game to find out who can pitch? Throw these guys in big leads and weekday situations. I’ll never understand the logic behind conceding games, I could care less who it’s against or timing of the schedule. It’s still a loss

Is it that fricking hard???

Yes for CPM it is. We need to lose a few more games to know that for sure.

Yes. Yes it is. We aren’t ULM.

We have all the resume builders we will ever need in SEC play

Ok do you think winning the first two games helps build the teams confidence? Are you seriously trying to argue that participation trophies are more important that building team confidence and winning the fricking ball game? Paul has a history of doing this shite, it’s not like it’s the first time we have seen it.

It’s so fricking obvious they were not chasing pitches so why keep throwing pitches out of the strike zone hoping they were chase them, throw it over and see what happens it’s better than walking them...

You play to win the game. Period.

Not Skip Bertman. In fact, his advice to CPM was exactly the opposite for early season games.

I mean, George threw yesterday too. Fontenot is certainly capable of throwing on back to back days. Just makes no sense.

Can we sign a petition to get Maineri hired back on at the Keebler elf factory?

It's indefensible for Paul not to close this game out with Trent, Fonetenot or beck.

Also to just ride with George after he walked the first batter and then just continue with him allowing 2 more runs is fricking indefensible as well.

Hellmers would’ve thrown it to Walk On’s if he was still playing 3rd.
