I've had the same question. Kendall Rogers has debunked that I believe.

Just a question on Vitello, could all the misdirection be on purpose because they are still playing?

It's not like Skip was a gentle soul, all puppy dogs and sunshine, who only said appropriate things. Imagine what we would call a coach who said the thing s about BR that Skip said about Starkville

Vitelo can rehabilitate his image with me by being our next head baseball coach

well frick....now i am going to have to be a fan of a strength coach at A&M

for those not familiar TCU baseball had it setup to have their own head strength coach and he is bad arse when it comes to training overhead throwing athletes. Huge part of their success.

Serious question, what were the circumstances around Casey's retirement?
Burned out?
The pedo stuff got to him?
Forced out?

McDonnell is the best actual coach in college baseball. He makes powerhouse teams without powerhouse recruiting classes. His name rarely gets mentioned, but my hope is Woodward pulls off a miracle.

Ranks 1st nationally in wins from 2007-2020

I don’t understand the Bianco hate.

A tiger he has success at Ole Miss in spite of having to play second fiddle to State in Mississippi.

I’d be happy to have him or Godwin.

I made a post about this the other day but the whole "Bianco brings in top recruiting classes every year" thing just isn't true. And being at Ole Miss, you can't blame him for that.

What he does do however, is develop the guys that come in. Throughout the last 5 seasons Ole Miss has, on average, brought in the 22nd ranked recruiting class in the country. LSU has brought in the 6th.

I don't think you even have to argue that Bianco has done more with less. If he could recruit up to the level LSU does every year, and I have zero doubt he can, I would be very excited about the future of the program given how Ole Miss has developed their players under him.

Bianco would be a perfect hire. He has a nice gig now though.

Whoever told you that is lying & got it from the rant

Casey said he was interested in maybe coaching again
He’s put out feelers to some mlb organizations but said he could be interested at any level including high school
His son plays for Oregon
His entire family / grandkids are there
He’s in his 60’s

wrote teh whole movement over maxes program and the 3d prep program, both great things to add to the knowledge bank if you are training any form of baseball players or for helping your kids.

if you are looking for baseball specific strength coaches...need to be looking at programs from the godfather...Eric Cressey.
