He was my pick for LSU, oh well. I would try Vitello, the DBU and ECU guys.

Wow. That's surprising. I never thought he'd leave TCU
The OP is correct
I want Vitello or McDonnell. One of those two please.
If we get Bianco, ugh

@KendallRogers
BREAKING: @AggieBaseball has hired @TCU_Baseball’s Jim Schlossnagle as its next head coach, sources tell @d1baseball. Schlossnagle spent the last 18 seasons as the head man at #TCU.
Just a fair warning … we’re potentially not done on this Wednesday for coaching hires.

I didn't know about that. I really thought he'd be there for a long time.

If the DBU coach is on your short list you may want to make it seriously known with his agent. He will be tops on the TCU list.

So they asked him to hold on to that nugget until Wed June 9 CDT I take it.

It's been rumored for a while that A&M wanted a coach from Texas as their next HC.

I remember being impressed with TCU’s fundamentals when they beat us several times, but they have missed the tourney more than you’d like.
Now it’s gotta be 1. McDonnell 2. Godwin 3(distant). Bianco

I don’t understand the Bianco hate.
A tiger he has success at Ole Miss in spite of having to play second fiddle to State in Mississippi.
I’d be happy to have him or Godwin.

Word is Heefner is very spiritual and has no deire to coach at a public institution. My guess is he does some discipling to the team... not entirely sure. But TCU would be 20 min down the road from DBU and fits the bill as a private Christian school.

I think there are a few rumored issues with that:
1. His staff wasn't willing to go to Starkvegas.
2. TCU made commitments for him to stay (facility improvements) that didn't happen.
So, I think the relationship there was a bit broken at some point.
I believe facility upgrades in CS were part of the negotiation.

Because a couple of the "experts" on here said he sucks and the TD lemmings ran with it. Bianco would be a great hire and would do amazing things with the talent that LSU brings in.

I think Kirk Sarloos would be an obvious choice for TCU if Heefner is unattainable

Absolutely. The TCU folks are worried he leaves for Cal State Fullerton.
