Curiel reminds me a lot of Tre Morgan at the plate. We saw Morgan’s power progress as he put on weight throughout college, I’m sure we’ll see the same from curiel. He’ll never really be more than a 10 HR a year guy though

But that happened after he got to campus.
And spoilers He will continue to develop physically but if he wants to be a top draft pick you need to show power
which is why he came to school.

It’s not a criticism of him as a college player - Curiel wouldn’t have made it to campus if he had developed more power in high school, as he was projected. Now he has 2-3 years to develop and showcase the ability to hit for power. Beyond that, he is clearly an incredibly talented player early into his freshman season.
