Couldn’t agree more. LSU football was great to watch this season. Every season is fun for a different reason.

I enjoyed watching this season as well. we have a way to go but I see an upward trend if we can upgrade at OC and keep recruiting well.

the HC has certain rights and dictating the offense is one of them. my biggest concern is coach O and the offense. miles certainly fricked ours up and it precluded real quality QB's from coming to LSU. Canada at least brought some changes and our offense was not as predictable (except in the red zone). imo, the game plan should be up to the OC with the HC's blessing. I certainly do not believe the crap on this board about O not letting Canada run his offense, etc but I don't completely disbelieve that it's partially true.

I don't believe that any sane person would disagree that the HC has the right to pick the offence that he prefers. But to lie about changing over and over and then staying the same. It makes you wonder, after negotiating those big contracts and buy outs, maybe he wanted to be fired.

Miles changed his philosophy offensively after the 2008 season and the record setting pick 6 festival. Word out was that if Miles had another season like that in 2009 he would be shown the door, so he changed his philosophy on offense to go to a more "traditional approach" 3 things can happen when you throw the ball and 2 of them are bad.

The only time that he left that approach was in 2012 and 2013 when he had Mettenberger throwing and 2 all star receivers . QB recruitment and development after that was an afterthought......Jennings and Harris

No way gramps. Not with this hire. Orgerons lucky arse got the job with the SPECIFIC instruction to NOT meddle in the offense like his predecessor, who was fired for that very reason.

His hiring was contingent on him hiring the very best OC available and then...

LEAVING HIM THE frick ALONE!!!
