I agree. Selling LSU’s brand is always a positive for recruiting.

It doesn’t matter what anyone writes. The only thing that matters is how the Tigers play.
FWIW, Rabalais is a good sportswriter. He has a different job than Dillinger had or Kubena has.

throw up in their mouth trying to read an article from Rabalais

Rab = lazy, emotional ... he's pretty much what you get from eating high off the hog for years without scrutiny or consequence (or readers when Delly was here)

He does as close to zero research as possible and seems as if he opines based on which cookies LSU made available in the press box.

He and Moscona felt so smug about their 7-5 predictions before the year... scoffing at anyone who could possibly think LSU would touch 9-3

This is why we can't have nice things. Anyone in their right mind shouldn't have expected LSU to surpass 7-8 wins. GA and AL were pretty guaranteed losses. You start the year off vs Miami and at Auburn. Not to mention what was a highly ranked State team. Playing in the swamp. Playing at aTm against a Fisher led likely improved team.

When people start yelling incessantly at the people (who a majority of did) picked them to finish around there but LSU has so far exceeded expectations, the fanbase looks ridiculous. I'm happier than anyone that we're sitting here at 5-0, but face it, 3-2 could have easily been a reality.

Mat 8:25The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” 26“You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.

I refuse to read or even give their site clicks until they blow up their mobile site and start over. It's so poorly set up and has so many pop ups that it's personal at this point

You know, I've joked about people treating Coach O like the pope and wanting blind faith, but you're taking it to a completely different and more ridiculous level.

99% of American Football writers picked LSU at 7-5. People have to be objective. Anyone who predicted we would be 5-0 right now is a supreme sunshine pumper. I am an eternally optimistic LSU fan and I figured we'd be 4-1. Give them a break. Enjoy the ride.

This is probably the dumbest thing I will read all day. Thanks for getting that out of the way for me early.

What do AP writers know they are the reason for the early season rankings! I had LSU losing 2 games but now I think we will only lose to Bama!
We shall see and soon with the heavy schedule we still have to go thru!

I mean, I'm sure that plenty of lottery winners just knew that they were going to win before they bought the ticket. It means nothing.

They didn't have any special insight or knowledge. They were simply correct about an unlikely event occurring.

So you’d be an idiot thinking media has a responsibility to support their local team whatever reasonable way they can.
