Get to campus and stay there. Stay at Lod Cook on Campus if you can.

DO NOT venture anywhere north of I-10/12 or any of the streets named after a U.S. President directly north of the campus off Highland Road.

I stay at Lod Cook... the team is staying there too again this year. There won't be any rooms available

Come on, that’s a little harsh. There’s very nice hotels and restaurants on Corporate and some great VRBOs in the Garden District. Not to mention downtown. Elsie’s?

So I am down to the following seats, and it really is getting slim. The Clemson fans are going to be in section 413 I think, but I am thinking no seat backs (?) if it rains you are in the rain, etc. Cheapest by far of course.

Then there are box seats on the field. It would be really cool to be that close to the scoring action, but I am thinking they're too low to really see anything much beyond midfield, but I don't know.

Final choice there are the box seats up high, or perhaps just VIP seats? Either end zone or right by the LSU sideline.

If someone was giving you tickets, which two would you pick?

Thanks Tigers, you guys have been great. BTW the picture loading is very archaic for me, so looks like I failed there...

I know that's good advice for obvious reasons, but we do like four- and five-star services when we can get it, and we are not spring chickens. Couple of funny stories. I was at our club market one day on Lake Keowee and started a conversation with a guy. We talked about college football, and it turned out he was Scott Ballard, who played a major role in hiring Lane Kiffin. You guys are very fortunate to have such a high quality person lead your board, he is very affable and fun to talk to. Yesterday, I called one of our friends, another high-level CEO type about buying his race car simulator; he is a Clemson supporter, and I asked him if he was going to the game. He said, "Well, you should go there at least once, but I will not be going." I have a lot of very good LSU friends, and it was great when we were in the box. But after the game we were drinking outside and one of the LSU fans pushed me, almost starting a fight. When I think of stories of "Cajuns," men like that from other regions of our great country, I think those are the types we want fighting for our great county, but I sure don't want to fight them. Tough people, but good people you need to be on the same side of. They are clannish, might get rowdy and drunk, but they are good people when you get to know them. As an old guy, I remember when this came out, it's a good song and probably based in fact.

The first 7 rows suck. Also, it never rains in Tiger Stadium.

The highest 2-3 rows of 413 will be under an overhang and mostly protected from rain.

If you do the South Stadium club, sit in the very lowest seats you can get. The ones up high are very far from the field, but a good view if your eyes are hawk-like. So, 500 sections are ok, avoid the 600s.
