Mathieu.

You have 3 lockdown corners and a huge upgrade on returns.

A lot of options. Defensively, I’d take Devin White or Tyrann Mathieu with Dorsey afterward. Offensively, the only thing you could add would be a punishing RB, so I’d take Fournette, Faulk, or an eligible Cecil Collins. That would compliment CEH well. But there are som many guys that could be listed such as McFarland, Lavalais, Spears, Brady James, Trev Faulk, Laron Landry, and others. Sure, Peterson or Beckham or Josh Reed would be nice to have, but it would making the rich richer.

Take emotions out of it , the only logical answer is Tac Minor .....

Seriously Dorsey or Gabe Northern or Chad Lavalais . Those guys get us off the field on third down and are mean SOB ‘s

Y'all youngun's! I'd add Liffort Hobley! What the hell is wrong wth y'all that you won't go back more than a few years to find a player that would really put a wrinkle in this season?

Get off my damn yard, kids!

Mathieu wasn't a lock down corner

If you are looking for a lock down corner from that team you're much better off taking Claiborne. He had 6 INTs and a kickoff return for a TD himself in 2011.

ETA - Obviously wouldn't disagree with adding honey badger to this team but I don't know if you keep him at a slot corner position. Might be better off at safety how he is used in the NFL

Finally someone mentioned Brockers, he was dominant in 2011. Started in the NFL as a rookie

Laron Landry
The intimidator himself.
No one has ever caused more pain and suffering on receivers coming across the middle than him. He is the hardest hitting son of a bitch I ever remember wearing purple and gold.

The honey badger would be equally as good a choice because he was equal to at least a three point swing anytime he played.

The honey badger would probably be more productive but Laron would be devastating to anyone with the guts to try and catch over the middle. I would love to see him lay someone out. He murders bitches on the field. A monster.

Sure. It was also before most teams were running spread concepts and his greatest strength wasn't coverage ability. He was a disruptive force but by no means a great cover corner.

Really, you're going to pick two of the strongest positions on our team and add players there? Why don't you just add OBJ and Tommy Hodson to the team?

That’s what I was trying to tell them earlier, but it’s like trying to get chimps to write a composition.

You know who was though?

Oregon and West Virginia

He was pretty solid against them.

And he player CB when we’re we’re in base too (besides one game)

He may not be an island CB in the NFL but he was an amazing nickel CB in college. He covered like a CB and blitzes and played run support like an OLB.

Sam Montgomery. A true 3-4 DE that would’ve made our 4 man rush legitimate

Mathieu is the only answer

You’re talking one guy, there isn’t a defensive player in LSU history that makes a bigger impact

Turnovers = wins

I completely disagree that you have to upgrade the weakest position group in this scenario. You have seen many a NFL team screw themselves over using that exact logic in the draft. You could go any number of directions but I might just make one of the Stronger groups even more elite. Add Patrick Peterson then put Stingley and Fulton on the #2 and #3 WR’s man to man. Teams would have their top 3 targets erased and you could bring as much pressure as you wanted which would improve the pass rush immediately
