Not exactly sure how I am acting like Billy Badass by pointing out the inconsistent behavior of this board. I can dig up comments from when Arik committed to Florida dismantling the kid (all heavily upvoted). Then he is once again a potential get and y'all are so forgiving and we don't understand what he is going through (all heavily upvoted). It is so fake! You can check every single one of my comments, I have no personal vendetta against Arik, but ever since the guy QUIT in the middle of the season I have had zero sympathy. It is rumored that he has a 1.0 GPA in what sports management. We have all had it tough but some deserve passes because they are superior athletes? Could you just stop going to work and use the pandemic as an excuse and expect to get a pass. Once again another fan that puts these kids on pedestals because they can run fast and jump high. If this were a 2-star athlete this would not even be a debate the kid would have zero sympathy from anyone on this board.

Yeah you are right. It is all speculation. This all started because I pointed out the fact that our fan base has handled this entire situation very poorly. One second we love him, then hate him, then love him again etc. I get on here a month ago and was reading some of the most ruthless comments imaginable directed toward the kid that were all heavily up voted. News comes out today he is in BR and its like everyone hits a 180 and ready to forgive him. Every thing about him potentially returning heavily upvoted. I pointed out it was bipolar next thing I know Im in debates over goofy sht.

I pointed out I was an alumni because I was critiqued for saying "my team". Clown. Im stating my opinion on a discussion board... Why are you here? One more thing "my guy". You responded to me as if you have talked to the team and know that they are on board with the return of Arik. Im sure some don't care, Im sure welcome him back, and Im sure some will be pissed. Were there not some pretty shady messages sent out by people in the TE room directed toward Arik when he announced his commitment to Florida? Are you people so naive to believe that the entire locker room is okay with him quitting on them and committing to a F'N RIVAL. I mean I don't have the inside scoop, but i don't think this is rocket science.

Agreed... We have no standards, we have no morals, can you play football well? Okay we will over look everything else you have ever done to ensure you suit up for us. This kid quit on the team in the middle of the season and Im watching excuses fly about his mental health etc. Why does he deserve special treatment? Rewind a month ago when the kid was committed to Florida and the bashing was a full go on here. You guys on this board make LSU fans look like a bunch of bipolar women. The kid does not want to be here, we are his last resort and I for one do not care to see him suit up for my team. This is how locker rooms are destroyed.

I feel like you need to replace Smart with Thomas in your claim. Thomas has been shooting wild shoots for a while at a very low percentage. He makes his money at the free throw line because he is great at drawing fouls. He needs to get inside and stop settling. Smart is the best 3 pt shooter on this team and I’d trust him to shoot from deep with the game on the line.

I dont think anyone deserves a trophy. Im just an adult who does not cry and throw tantrums. I'm critical of my team without acting like a child. I bet you agree with the OP. Give up on the team, give up on the football team too since they had an off season. Fake a** fans you guys are.

I am embarrassed to be a part of this fan base. The biggest bunch of bipolar man children in all of college sports.
