Offense moved the ball at will yesterday
When the defense got a 4th down stop at the end of the 2nd half and the offense got to start at Vandy's 35 with a chance to take the lead and seize some momentum, they instead could only muster a FG and left Vandy enough time to match it before half.
When Durham broke a big run and set up 1st and goal from the 3, they went backwards and settled for another FG
They got the ball twice in the 4th quarter only down 7 points and had a chance to tie. They went 3 and out both times.
The truth is once Vandy went up 14-10, the offense had numerous opportunities to tie or take the lead and seize the momentum. They failed every single time when those moments came. They do not deliver in "have to have it" moments. That is the opposite of being able to move it "at will". Just looking at the average yards per play is lazy, a few long busted plays inflated that stat

At will? What game did you watch? A a couple of busted long plays and then couldn’t score TDs as usual!
A wounded duck for a 68TD (3missed tackles and undergoes ball) and Cade 51yd run for a FG, opening drive FG first time all year but self inflicted wounds killed that drive.
The only real drive was the Green TD that was a nice designed play. BK, Sloan, Davis, Hank all need to be let go! Frank only gets a pass for his recruiting but his RB room rotation has been a mess. Berry gets going out in Cade like WTH are you doing that?

He ran a play that wasn’t far off from this:
He’s got to go.

Yes sir, going to send this to Woodward.

You sure about that? The same Sloan who completely blew a 1st and goal from the 6inch line? Same one who called an asinine formation at the end of the 1st half? He is completely clueless and needs to be stripped of all OC duties IMMEDIATELY.

Correct.
Down 7 with the ball twice in the 4th quarter:
3 plays, -12 yards, punt
3 plays, 2 yards, punt
They scored a whopping 24 points, a season-high against an FBS opponent.
The offense is so terrible that 'almost decent' can masquerade as 'good'.

Receivers have been locked down, but backs and Tught Ends are always open. Recurring theme!

I don’t understand how getting rid of our offensive staff and bringing in players which will cost a ton of money makes sense if you keep Kelly? I’d make him coach his last year or 2 with what he has.

We had first and goal inside the 1 and a ended up with a FG. And everyone know the second Durham got tackled that we were not getting a TD
Defense got 2 stops in a 1 score game in the 4th quarter and the offense got what 2 total yards?
It’s just like the Ole Miss game, as bad as the defense played, we still would have won with just a non dog shite offense.

Or else what? Kelly doesn't report to you, me or anyone on this board.
Until the guys that write the checks decide, all we can do is cry in our cheerios!

Don’t worry folks.. it will work itself out. After the next two weeks this place will be set ablaze… this team lacks effort and emotion and we are still doing fundamental stupid stuff that shiuld have been gone by game 2. UGA runs a same type offense as LSU and is much more effective. My cat has more imagination to run an offense as this coaching staff. LSU wins 2 more games MAX..

First of all, what game were you watching second of all what game were you watching?

Lsu has averaged 6.8 and 6.6 yards per play the last 2 weeks
And how many points did that get us?
How did the offense finish those drives?

It should be. Sloan should be out today at the minimum. It won’t happen.
Of course it won’t. Actually, I have seen no good come from firing coaches during the season. The only thing that does is temporarily pacify fans. No coach worth hiring will will leave his team in the middle of a season, so if you fire a coach, you just end up going without a coach.

The oline was atrocious, that's why we lost.

Disclaimer, I didn't watch the game. I went deer hunting (got one) and other activities. How'd we only score 21 points if we "moved the ball at will?"
