Terrace Marshall
Racey McMath
Kayshon Boutte
Arik Gilbert

Koy Moore was doing great, but has hamstring injury. This group of guys looking special. 6-8 receiver rotation would also allow Jontre Kirklin and others to build some depth.

If true then Palmer needs to be the return man.

I know Boutte is a baller but expected Trey Palmer to be a starter due to being seriously talented and being a year ahead.

I’m surprised Palmer hasn’t put it all together yet

I think Boutte is too damn good to keep off the field.

Guy reminds me of Antonio Brown playing style where his skill set really neutralizes the height disadvantage. High points it extremely well, has great shake off the line, great hands, etc.

Kid is going to be a stud for us.

Just saw a notification on cbs sports saying the same. Good for him, he sure seemed worthy in the HS all star game he played in.

For those unfamiliar with him as a recruit

This is another impressive surprise. His HS tape is outstanding!

I think this is a reflection of just how good Boutte is and not a knock on Palmer. Palmer will see lots of playing time the way we rotate players. I said earlier this year that we’ll be talking about Boutte in the same superlatives we were talking about Chase. I stand by it.

Yeah I think this is more the storyline than anything negative with Trey Palmer. We’ve been hearing that Boutte looks like a stud since he stepped on campus. Think he’s just that good

If we are rotating receivers like that our offense will go back to being bad. Constant shuffling of receivers isn't a good thing.

WRs not named Chase, Marshall, and Jefferson still caught 54 passes for 792 yards in 2019. And that was with 3 experienced and talented 1st round type players in our starting 3.

Never forget, Burton and Jarrett went elsewhere in this class...may have seen just how good Boutte was and realized they would never be the guy

Yeah, no. That doesn't tell the whole story. I'm not saying we can't be successful rotating but in the Auburn, Bama, Clemson games receivers not named Jefferson, Chase, or Marshall had 0 catches for 0 yards. I picked those 3 games because they were the only close games where the 2nd string didn't come in. Also Marshall missed a few games. When he was healthy and we needed them, the big 3 from last year did NOT sub out much at all.

What a idiotic reply. When u are in a spread offense like we are in here at LSU u need to rotate receivers to keep guys fresh. We run alot of 4 even 5 wide sets in our offense c’mon my man....
