I agree, shuffling receivers isn’t a good thing for continuity and Myles’ sake. However, in the red zone shuffling receivers is a good thing, especially when one is 6’6” 250
Boutte is just flat out good. Him starting over the depth we have is impressive alone without even considering he is a true freshman. Your boy goes up and gets the ball and is tough as nails. Gilbert and Boutte are going to show up big this year, it’s just a matter of time before Myles connects the dots.

What a idiotic reply. When u are in a spread offense like we are in here at LSU u need to rotate receivers to keep guys fresh. We run alot of 4 even 5 wide sets in our offense c’mon my man....
I feel like you guys didn't pay attention last year. I don't know where to find snap participation but Moss and CEH were on the field pretty much every offensive snap. I'd be willing to bet they were 90+% of offensive snaps in close games.

Assuming Koy recovers quickly, the second three of Moore, Palmer and Kirklin are pretty damn good!

What happened to Trey Palmer?

Wait until you guys see Boutte's athleticism. Kid is a frisbee catching dog ... to quote Mark Packer.

Not sure, but when O was going over the receiver group this morning, seems like he brought up everyone but him.

Bama, Clemson games receivers not named Jefferson, Chase, or Marshall had 0 catches for 0 yards
Wasn't that to force the opposition to keep the same defensive personnel on the field. We wore them out with that approach.

Racey and Boutte will have their roles but this offense is quickly going to become the Marshall and Gilbert show.

What’s scary is he has more long speed than AB as well

Never forget, Burton and Jarrett went elsewhere in this class...may have seen just how good Boutte was and realized they would never be the guy
This. Boutte showed up at the Underarmour All Star Game and made a case for being the #1 WR in the class. It’s not a knock on Palmer, Boutte is just that good

Boutte was a monster on the track in addition to football.

I see what where that guy is coming from. but there is a middle ground in not subbing WRs in the middle of drives and getting fresh future NFL WRs into the game. They've got to sub in new WRs at the beginning of drives or during timeouts... subbing and huddling will give defenses a better chance to sub and get into formation against our offense.

quote:still wild to me that this team has the highest rated prospect in 247 in history at two positions, and that we pulled that dude in consecutive years.

like, even with all the program has done in regards to recruiting, for 20 years now, and all the Diamond Class Elite players who have come through, theres still something about the 2020 team where youre like "god damn thats amazing".
(Stingley is the other one of course)

Boutte just needs to stay in the bubble 24/7..I'm not worried about Covid-19 or china virus...worried about the poontang flu with this kid...
