That may be true but they have looked absolutely dominant vs those teams. LSU has struggled to beat teams that honestly should not have been able to stay on the field with them. Ole Miss has beat those dogshit teams like they were dogshit teams. LSU continues to step in its own dick on its way to ugly wins over their competition

Lmao….what games have yall been watching for the last 4 weeks? Can we beat Ile Miss, sure we can but Ole Miss is a much better team right now. I made every excuse after our performances in our 1st 3 games but after yesterday, I finally realized we just not as good as i expected. Our offensive line is overrated in run blocking and our defensive is improved but nowhere near what it needs to be to beat Ole Miss?????

They’ve improved, but just like the OP, I think your language is a bit strong. Remarkable is far from the word I would use.

If both teams play their best football, LSUs LBs and Secondary will get absolutely abused.
I’m not sure how that is a controversial statement.
And yes I’ve watched both teams play this season. And through 4 games Ole Miss looks like the better team.
There is a reason they are in the top 10 and LSU is struggling to get into the top 15
Again, the game has to be played and LSU could pull of an upset. But make no mistake, it would be an upset.
Sorry some of you can’t be objective about this team.

- Ole Miss has played absolutely nobody so far this season. Ole Miss is finally going to start playing teams with a pulse.
- LSU has played three teams from either the Big10 or SEC.
- LSU’s offense has looked great and Nussmeier is one of the nation’s top QBs right now. The only thing holding them back at times is poor play calling.
- LSU’s front 7 has looked good getting after the QB.
- LSU’s secondary has not played extremely well and we have been giving up big plays. Kiffin will use all four downs consistently to get those big plays.

Can't say it enough- our defense lacks real talent. Sure, if they play smart football, know their gaps, we can compete against most teams, but against talented QB's and receivers, we are going to get burned. No one in our defensive backfield scares anyone, they are a weakness. That's why I have said before, this is not a playoff caliber team, we have a better shot next year...
