The biggest concentration of LSU fans outside the state of Louisiana is in Houston. Not only is that a friendly city towards LSU but it’s also a lot closer to New Orleans or any other city in southeast Louisiana than Atlanta. Not to even mention the Astros have been in Houston longer than the Braves have been in Atlanta.
I wish all the Millennials and Gen X Braves fans would just admit they jumped on the bandwagon when Maddox and Glavine were getting calls 3 inches off the plate. I get it, Louisiana didn’t have a team, the Braves were on TBS every night, and they were dominating everything but the World Series throughout the 90’s and very early 2000’s. I still think Sid Bream was out in ‘92. At least the people my age from Louisiana that root for the Cubs aren’t bandwagon fans.
Also, for anyone saying anything about not being a bandwagon fan of the Braves because you could watch them every night on tv is BS! You could have listened to the Astros every night too.

Look at Gauseman's last 5 year stats and tell me that with confidence again.
I watched every start he had with the Cubs this year - every inning and he had a 4.5 coming in.
I was ecstatic when the Cubs got him I wanted him but yeah, unfortunately because I love the Cubs and I love Gausman, yes I can say it with confidence, the 4 years previous yes he was top tier, This year both the eye test and the metrics say it's not trending up anymore. Pains me to say.

Nothing dumber than someone from Louisiana choosing the Atlanta Braves as their team. Frick the braves. Frick Atlanta.
Well, if you're parents are from Georgia and transplanted to LA for work, what choice did I have? Get over it.

Well this is ignorant. I am GenX and I became a Braves fan in 1982 at 8 years old. The Braves sucked balls the first 7-8 years of my baseball life. To say bandwagon fans is just stupid. There were 2 choices to watch every day. Cubs or Braves. My Dad was a Braves fan so naturally I chose the Braves. Some of my fondest memories are watching daily with him. It’s not our fault La. didn’t have a team. Also not our fault that the 90’s started a good run of winning. We suffered in the beginning. If not for Ted Turner I would probably be a Cubs fan so thank you Ted!

La. Braves fans who like the Saints should ask their fellow Braves fans from Georgia what they think of the Saints.

Yea. Thx for the memories but he can get fricked up there on that mound against the Braves.
And he did…
And he did…

wrong again, been a fan of braves all through 80's. other than 82 winning division losing to cards in NLCS, and competing with dodgers for division in 83 we sucked all the way up until 91. i endured all of that as a youngster.
you are 100% wrong like most assuming dumbasses. you sound so mad still. typical astro fan. but so what if some kids were born at that time to where they just started watching in the 90s? so what? how is that their fault? So they could not like the braves because they were on TV and winning? GTFO.
we were fans way before you. you just became a houston fan after relocating to H town at 30 years old? LOL while we have been watching braves since we were like 7 years old. Actually i bet you just became a fan once bregman went to houston huh? LOL.
get some of this fake baseball fan.

The MLB rotations don’t pair up every start like they do in college. After opening day, it’s rare you see ace v ace

I’ve been a Braves fan since they were in Milwaukee and former LSU great Joe Bill Adcock was their starting 1st baseman.

So since Houston is 5 hours away instead of 7 that’s who a real fan would chose?
There is no local team for Louisiana and the MLB
